Discover the cultural and natural sides of Zurich during this 5 - 6 hours semi/private tour (walking and public transport use) and enrich your knowledge about Switzerland's business and cultural capital while listening to your guide pointing out the highlights of this unique town. While strolling around Zurich's Old Town we will focus on Bahnhofstrasse and Paradeplatz which is Zurich's main downtown street and one of the world's most expensive and exclusive shopping avenue; Limmatquai - a vibrant, historical shopping, dining and hotel area with many interesting buildings dating from the days of the rich Guilds that governed Zurich until 1789; Lindenhof and Roman Baths - the historical site of a Roman castle situated on a hillside, from where you can get great view of Old Town; St. Peter Church - one of the four main churches in Zurich whose clock face is the largest in all of Europe; Fraumünster (Church of Our Lady) - to admire and learn about the world-famous Chagall Windows, created by famous artist Marc Chagall. Grossmünster Church - the icon of Zurich and the place where Reformation begun; Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) - whose most famous former student and professor is Albert Einstein and other 20 Nobel Prize winners; Swiss National Museum - history in a castle which houses the largest collection of cultural-historical objects in the country; Bars and Restaurants which famous personalities as Picasso, Chagall, Giacometti, Dior, Chanel, Wagner, etc., used to visit while being in Zurich; The house where Lenin was living before returning to Russia for leading the revolution and overtaking the power.

After the city walking tour, we will continue with a journey to the local little mountain Uetliberg or Felsenegg to experience a short aerial cable car ride and to enjoy breathtaking views. This is a popular recreational area for the locals living in and around Zurich and offers incredible views overlooking Zurich, the lake and the snow-capped Alps. We will experience a short hike on a special trail called "Planetweg" which represents our solar system on a reduced scale and will enjoy the fresh air of the beautiful forest before heading back to Zurich by boat.

After the city tour and the short hike on the local little mountain, we are heading back to Zurich by boat. We will enjoy a 45 min cruise on the Lake Zurich and talking about the chocolate while passing nearby Lindt Chocolate Factory and will admire one of the most expensive areas of the Lake Zurich, where celebrities as Tina Turner are living.

We really enjoyed the tour despite the rain. And we were really lucky to have Greg as our guide. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Have learnt so much about Switzerland. Thank you!
Greg made our day in Zurich the best it could be. His upbeat spirit, knowledge of important and sometimes not so well known Zurich facts left us with an appreciation of this wonderful town. 6 hours went by quickly, but we never felt rushed. This tour is a great mix of walking/talking tour, relaxing scenic boat ride, and a ride up to the top of a mountain replete with a restaurant for a refreshing beverage. I almost never write reviews, but the worthiness of this tour and tour guide could not go unacknowledged!
Wow! What a wonderful city and a great way to see things from so many angles. Our guide was fantastic and full of great insight into Zurich and Swiss economy/politics/society with a great ability to relate it to the various nationalities present in our group. The views from the Felsenegg Restaurant were absolutely stunning! A nice perk of the tour is the ability to grab a meal and drink on the boat portion across the lake and certainly bring a bottle of water to fill up at any city fountain along the way. Can't recommend this tour highly enough!!!
The tour was nice, but way too long. It involves a great deal of walk... so, be prepared! Our guide was friendly and knowledgeble. The tour could have been done in 4 hours. An alternativ would be, for example, a 5 hours tour including a break for a typical swiss lunch. Overall it was a nice way to visit Zürich.
We had the most amazing tour of Zurich with the WOW tour. Our guide Frank was amazing. Met us at our hotel, we walked, took the boat on the lake, took the gondola, rode the bus and saw so much in a day! He even got us on the bus back to our hotel and told us what stop to take. An absolute must tour to see this amazing city!
We loved this tour of Zurich! Our guide Frank was amazing....he met us at our hotel and we had a 6 hour tour of walking, riding the bus, taking the gondola ride, and a boat across Lake Zurich. We learned so much about the city and the country. He even got us back on the bus and told us what stop to take for our hotel. What a great way to see Zurich.....highly recommend this tour.
