About this activity
You will visit a local home for an interactive cooking session. Please note, this is not a cooking class with a professional chef, rather it is a chance to visit a local home for insights into daily life in this part of India and an introduction to a very tasty regional cuisine by the lady of the house. You are welcome to participate, or just sit back and watch. You can also take notes, ask questions and photograph the cooking session, if you wish.
The cuisine that you will see is a Mughlai cuisine, which is one of the most popular cuisines, whose origins can be traced back to Medieval India and the Mughal Empire. It is quite spicy and has a very unique aroma. Eating Mughlai food, you can really taste the ground spices. Some of Mughlai dishes have name such as biryani, pulao and kofta.
The tour will end with a drop-off to your Agra hotel.
