Jihad was a very knowledgeable and caring driver. He allowed us to create our own experience and gave good references for places to eat and visit. OH and we started out early enough to beat the bus tour swarms! He was also gracious enough to drop us off at our spa appointment right after our tour!

Booked this in was order to get out of Beirut.J was our driver and was very accommodating, often allowing us additional time when necessary. We were genuinely expecting somebody to just drive us around but he gave us lots of additional information like a your guide which was an added bonus. I would recommend this service if you've a few friends and want to go at your own pace/as skip certain monuments etc. opposed to a very large tour group.

Picked up from hotel, driver was friendly and informative - gave plenty information and clear instructions where to meet etc. Cold water was provided from a cool box and we stopped for coffee a couple of times which is nice. Got to Jeita Grotto early to avoid the bus tours - very impressive caves - one is walk through and the lower cave has a boat ride. Phones and cameras are not allowed and should be stored in the free lockers. Very cool visit. Harissa is great as well - amazing views from the top of the attraction, the gift shop is good as well. There is a funicular then cable car to get down the mountain where the driver was waiting. Lunch was taken at Byblos - lovely restaurant with a nice view of the harbour. Good food, although not a great choice for vegans (fatouche and hummus are staples though). Nice cool beer. Byblos is very nice - walked from the harbour up through the town to the castle. touring the castle was good but there's not too much information, just a basic map. Worth visiting though. Walked through the souk which was busy and had plenty on offer. Great day trip.
