Stop At: Jagannath Temple, Puri 752001 India

Visit Puri Jagannath temple and Gundicha temple. The Puri Jagannath temple is one of the holy places in Hinduism. Mentioned as one of the divine Char Dhams (India’s Four Hindu Pilgrimages Circuit), the temple is dedicated to the "Lord of the Universe”- Lord Jagannath.

Stop At: Gundicha Temple, Near Jagannath Temple, Puri India

Pay your respects and move to the Gundicha temple. This temple is the venue of the highly celebrated Puri Rath Yatra Festival (the homecoming festival of the deities of Jagannath Temple) that takes the Gods and Goddess of Jagannath temple on a procession in a chariot during the festival.

Stop At: Raghurajpur Artist Village, On the river Bhargabi, Puri India

Later, drive to Raghurajpur, the artists’ village, famous for its Patta paintings which are made over a piece of cloth or a dried palm leaf. The art form dates back to 5th century BC.

Stop At: Pipili, Odisha 752104, India

Afterwards, drive back to Bhubaneswar. En-route visit Pipli, a town of artisans famous for beautiful and colourful applique handicrafts. This art is the source of livelihood for most people of this region

Stop At: Ashokan Rock Edict, Dhauli 8 Km From Bhubaneswar, Bhubaneswar India

On the way to Bhubaneshwar, you will also visit the Dhauli Rock Edicts of Ashoka of the Mauryan Empire from the 3rd Century BC. It is this place where the famous King Ashoka converted to Buddhism and installed rock edicts to record his new maxim after the end of the great war of Kalinga in 262 BCE. Dhauli is now an important centre for Buddhism in India. After the tour ends, you will be dropped back at the hotel.
