Day 1: Arrival

Stop At: Minipreco, R. Custódio Brás Pacheco 61, 7645-256 Vila Nova de Milfontes, Portugal

Day 2: São Luís - Hiking

Stop At: Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina, Sao Teotonio, Odemira Portugal
Walking tour - Rota Vicentina: São Luís has always been rich in natural resources, which have been exploited though mining, cork harvesting, wood production, and cattle breeding... all this can be experienced during a 3,5km hike.
Duration: 3 hours

Day 3: Odemira - Boat riding and Chocolate tasting

Stop At: Ponte sobre o Rio Mira, Avenida Teofilo Trindade, Odemira 7630-124 Portugal
Boat ride from Vila Nova de Milfontes to Odemira, on the Mira river. As we travel, we’ll learn from and about Mrs São: in the ’70s, when the Milfontes bridge had not yet been built, her father started to take people, cattle, cars and values across the Mira river, all year round. In 1990, Mrs São replaced her father in this job, and now, she is the one that will take us to Odemira, just like in the old times.

Day 4: Santa Clara-a-Velha - Hiking and local experiences

Stop At: Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina, Sao Teotonio, Odemira Portugal
Experience the authentic Alentejo in the small village of Santa Clara-a-Velha, after which the dam close by was named. From here we’ll hike 10 km, along the bed of the dam’s large lake, with its acacia, mimosas, poplar, ash trees, willows, and reeds. Watercresses cover the shallow parts of the river, and in the deeper parts you’ll find water lilies. On the fertile riverbed, large apple, orange, olive and fig trees grow.
Duration: 4 hours

• Lunch: Hotel Santa Clara-a-Velha
• Dinner: Typical tavern with "Cante ao Baldão e Viola Campaniça" performance by locals

Day 5: Departure

Stop At: Igreja da Misericordia de Odemira, Odemira 7630 Portugal
Transfer to train/bus station or where you wish with an additional cost
