About this activity
Flights depart daily from our Franz Josef and Fox Glacier bases (departures and snow landings subject to suitable weather conditions and safety decisions from your pilot). The Franz Josef Glacier is included for departures from our Franz Josef Heliport, and the Fox Glacier is included for departures from our Fox Glacier Heliport. During the Summer period departures are available from 7.30AM to 8.30PM or during the Winter period from 8.30AM to 4.00PM. Autumn and Spring departures can be flexible depending on the time of year and weather conditions as the days become longer into the Summer, or less leading into the Winter period.
