About this activity

Sebago’s Island 'Ting Eco Tour combines 3 great Key West adventures into one: a Key West sail cruise, snorkeling the coral reef and a kayak tour of the mangroves, all in one day. Save money and time by experiencing Key West's favorite activities in one awesome tour. Departing from Key West’s Historic Seaport, your catamaran's sails are unfurled for an authentic sail experience on the 7 mile sail to the coral reef. Sebago’s own catering kitchen prepares the fresh breakfast, offering such goodies as fresh pastries, quiche, tropical fruit and fruit juices. Sebago's captains know the best Key West snorkeling spots to maximize your fun. Nearing the reef, our experienced crew provides a professional safety and instruction course. If you are new to snorkeling, all your questions will be answered. No need to worry about equipment - Sebago provides sanitized snorkels, masks, fins and buoyancy vests. Explore the reef’s magnificent underwater world. Take in the brightly colored fish, coral and marine wildlife that call the reef home. Grab a noodle - float and play in the warm, clear waters. Come back aboard and wash off the salt with our fresh water rinse.

Find a comfortable spot in the tropical sun or relax in shade under the covered space. Enjoy complimentary cold drinks with plenty to choose from – homemade sangria, boutique wine, frosty cold beer, chilled soft drinks and filtered water. Soon you are sailing again, heading to Key West's backcountry mangrove islands. Now it's time for lunch, an all-you-can-eat fresh buffet feast. Start with delicious peel and eat shrimp. Move on to a selection of deli meats and cheeses accompanied by assorted breads and condiments. Don’t forget to try Sebago’s own side salads! Upon arrival at the uninhabited mangrove islands in the Key West National Wildlife Refuge, your crew helps you into your kayak, providing paddling instructions. Sheltered by the mangroves, the warm, shallow water is calm, making kayaking a breeze. This is where you will experience the best kayaking in Key West. On this guided eco tour, the crew talks about the mangroves and their important role as nurseries to the sea. Learn how mangrove trees survive in salt water and about the varied marine life that inhabit the unique mangrove ecosystem. Did you know that several hundred species of birds call these mangroves home? On a typical day, you may see ospreys, frigates, blue herons, bald eagles and even roseate spoonbills. In the water, look for sea turtles, dolphins, manta rays and tropical fish. After your mangrove kayak tour, refresh yourself with another tasty beverage. Enjoy an afternoon snack of freshly made chocolate chip cookies or chips and dip. Relax and enjoy your hour long brisk sail back to the Historic Seaport as a memorable day in Key West draws to a close.
