It is located about 50 km from the capital of Montenegro, Podgorica and about 15 km from the second largest city in Montenegro, Nikšić. Nestled on the large rock of the Ostrog hill, the monastery gives an impressive effect to anyone who looks at it. Ostrog Monastery, a wonder built by nature and human intercession, carved almost entirely on the vertical mountain cliff, is today the pearl of Montenegrin spiritualism, visited annually by more than one hundred thousand pilgrims from different religions from around the world.
