Itinerary

Day 1: Leh arrival and visit Leh Palace in the evening

Pass By: Leh Royal Palace, Leh India
Arrive at Kushok Bakula airport Leh situated at 3500m altitude, met by our representative at the airport and transfer to your hotel in Leh city 3 to 4 km. On arrival at the hotel welcome drink and then proceed to your rooms and take full day at rest to acclimatize yourself completely to the high altitudes of Ladakh which is must. Evening visit Leh palace and an easy walk to Leh bazaar. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 2: Leh - Sham valley

Pass By: Alchi Choskor Monastery, Alchi Road Alchi Village, Leh 194101 India
Morning drive to Alchi 68km enroute visit the magnificent Basgo Castle and the sangam of Indus & Zanskar Rivers which are the two largest rivers in Ladakh. Afternoon on arrival in Alchi village checkin at the Hotel and later visit the 1000 year old murals/paintings of Alchi monastery. Later we drive back to Leh

Day 3: Leh Indus valley tours

Stop At: Thiksey Monastery, Leh Manali Highway, Leh 194101 India
Today we shall take you for a Fullday tour of some of the most important and beautiful Monasteries and Palaces on the Indus Valley along driving along River Indus. You shall visit the former summer Palace of the kings of Ladakh i.e. Shey Palace, mini potala like Monastery in Ladakh i.e. Thiksey Monastery which also enshrines the most beautiful statue of Maitrey Buddha and later the largest and the richest monastery in Ladakh i.e. Hemis Monastery. Back to Leh by evening and free at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Visit Hemis monastey

Stop At: Shey Monastery, Indus River, Leh India
Visit Shey palace
Duration: 1 hour

Day 4: Leh to Pangong lake

Pass By: Pangong Tso, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, India; Ladakh, , India;, Leh 194101 India
Morning drive 135 kms to Pangong Lake one of the most beautiful and romantic lakes in Asia. Absolutely quite, isolated and crystal blue. Checkin at the exclusively arranged Camp on the banks Pangong Lake at Spangmik. Lunch at the camp. Afternoon explore the lake and enjoy a romantic walk along the lake. Evening visit the tiny nomadic village located at a distance. A special Bar-be-cue Dinner on the banks of the Lake under twinkling stars and perhaps a bright moonlight is the highlight of the trip. Overnight at tented Camp.

Day 5: Pangong to Leh

Stop At: Chemre Gompa Monastery, Chemre, Leh India
Leisure breakfast and then drive back to Leh, on the way explore Chemre monastery, driving along Indus river and check in at the hotel on arrival back to Leh. Rest of the day at leisure for last minute shopping etc. Overnight at the Hotel.
Duration: 40 minutes

Day 6: Fly back to Delhi

Pass By: Delhi Airport Metro Express, New Delhi India
Transfer to the Leh airport for onward journey to Delhi
