ZAMBEZI White Water Rafting & Free Cruise Deal (SAFPAR)

Our PSV liscensed drivers, will collect you between 0745-0800, from your livingstone accomodation and transport you to the Victoria Falls Waterfront. Here you will meet your friendly International Rafting Federation accredited guides, have some tea or coffee and be issued with your rafting equipment. Followed by our mandatory safety briefing.
*Please be advised to bring USD 20 cash for Parks entry. USD 10 for entry to the UNESCO World Heritage Site at the Victoria Falls. USD 10 for entry into the Mosi-oa-tunya national park. Both payments are government requirments and must be paid at our offices before the trip.

Once the briefings are complete we load up on our custom built vehicles and transport you to the entrance of the magnificent Victoria Falls. Here you will be divided into teams and allocated a white water rafting guide. Please note we do try and keep groups together but the ideal group size is 6-8 and you may be in a raft with other guests you don't know.

We then descend into the middle Batoka gorge. Please be sure to bring good walking shoes for the descent and the ascent of the gorge. After an "on-boat" safety briefing and instructions from your guide. We set off to tackle rapids #1-10. Please be advised Rapid # 9 is a mandatory portage. We will have lunch at Rapid # 10 before rafting rapids 11-21. At Rapid 21 we will hike out of the Batoka Gorge.

Our guides are on hand to assist you and we carry plenty of water. Once at the top of the gorge we will transport you the 30-45 minutes back to our rafting base at the Victoria Falls Waterfront, where it is beer and medal time. Here we will have a meal and an icy-cold local beverage of your choice while watching your complimentary video and picture packages. These are free of charge, to share with friends and family.

After this, it is time to board one of our infamous sunset cruise boats, departing the "Victoria Falls Waterfront" at 1630 for a two hour cruise on the upper Zambezi river, in the Mosi-oa-Tunya national park. The cruise has an open bar of local beverages and a wholesome meal will be served on board.

Expect to see a variaty of wildlife and toast the setting sun. Another tough day in Africa. On returning to the dock at approximately 1830 we will tranport you back to your livingstone accomodation.

What to bring:

1) We do have a valuables box for camera or phone which you will want for your sunset cruise. Please don't bring huge amounts of cash/passports etc.

2) Please wear quick drying clothes that you don't mind getting wet.

3) Good walking shoes or trainers are a must for the hike into and out of the gorge.

4) Be sure to bring sun cream, a long sleeve shirt is advisable while on the raft. Beware of the sun.

5) A warmish top for the drive back to town and a change of clothes before the sunset cruise. We do have ablution facilities you can use for changing.
