You will be greeted at your hotel at 10.00 by our staff and you will be assigned an airconditioned 4x4 vehicle. After signing the rental contract a briefing will be given by our staff about the vehicle, safety, road rules or local conditions and the route. Take off on the road with a full tank of diesel and a map and directions in hand. Your route will take you to the Marmaris Honey House, where you will be informed about honey, composition of honey, properties and benefits of honey, gelee royale, pollen, propolis and bee venom. As Turkey is the worlds biggest pine honey producer, you will also have the opportunity to buy honey and other related products.
Some 10 minutes distance from the Honey House you will reach the Bayir Village, where you can sit with local people at a local cafe, visit a mosque, see a primary school, shops and a 1000-year-old plane tree. 15km later you will the reach the Maiden's Sand with its interesting myth and geographical structure. This unusual natural beauty seems as a submersed pathway consisting of tile red, coarse grained sands and tiny pebbles. If you walk until the end of 600 metres long sand platform, you will be surprised to see the unlikely structure of the Maiden's Sand.
Your route will then be towards Marmaris using partly stabilized road, where you’ll have time to explore the untouched landscapes.
The total route is around 75km.
