Sushi-making Experience and Lunch in Nagoya

About this activity
In Nagoya, there is a school that has dedicated itself to teaching the world about the art of sushi.

First, you will greet the chef and receive your instructions for the day. English instructions will be provided to be read.

Once you have prepared and gotten ready, you will begin your sushi training. First, you will try preparing Neta, or toppings for sushi, and cooking miso soup for your lunch.

After the preparations for the Neta, you will make the sushi including Maki-zushi, or rolled sushi, and Nigiri-zushi, handmade sushi, for your lunch. While it may look easy to make, the taste depends considerably on the way it is prepared.

As you follow the way the master makes his sushi, you will enjoy making own creations.

Once you are done preparing the meal around noon, you will enjoy having the sushi lunch you made while admiring the fruits of your labor.
