About this activity
You will meet skipper Andrea at 9.45 am. at the Gare Maritime, Marigot (the main dock for the Anguilla Ferry).

Your small group of 10/12 passengers will board the catamaran Egaia, a 44 ft Fountain Pajot Orana and head into the Anguilla Channel. You can learn how to sail a catamaran, set sails, navigate and understand winds and currents in the Anguilla Channel. You may also lay back and enjoy the view with no effort needed. All at your own discretion, be part of the crew or enjoy the relaxing sights and sounds of a boat under sail.

At the North-East point of the island you will briefly enter the Atlantic Ocean, sailing toward the French Marine Reserve Park there to anchor in front of the beach of Tintamarre Island, a quiet and beautiful anchorage with clean, clear tropical water teeming with marine life where you can swim and snorkel in this glorious paradise. Snorkeling gear ( mask, snorkel, fins ) are provided and you are free to enjoy the waters of this fantastic beach or lounge on board at your discretion.

The open bar offers a choice of beers, soda, rhum punch and fruit juices from the start to the end of the excursion.

Lunch is served on board at 12.30 but you can choose to picnic on the beach if you wish. Fresh Fish is the primary menu with Chicken or Veggie available as optional (ask at the booking).

Skipper Andrea will tell you the tales and legends of the island, about pirates, smugglers, secret airplanes, goats and the cabin of the guardian.

Following his advice you can walk throughout the island, along old paths and discover the hidden secrets of this island.

At 2.15 pm. you will leave Tintamarre on the voyage back to Marigot, stopping at Rocher Creole, in front of the bay of Grand Case with it's wonderful fisherman's village. Dive and play with turtles and rayfish in this marine sanctuary.

On the way back you explore Happy Bay and Friars Bays

The catamaran will arrive at Marigot before 4 pm.
