About this activity
Come explore the Cobblestone Society Museum, a National Historic Landmark in Orleans County, located on historic Ridge Road. Guided tours are led by one of our experienced docents. Tours can be tailored to fit the interests of your group, and are available from 11am-5pm Wednesday through Saturday, and from 1pm-5pm on Sunday. (Last full campus tour begins at 4pm.)

The Cobblestone Museum is an open-air museum that promotes the study and exploration of cobblestone construction methods from 1825 to 1860, offering visitors the opportunity to explore three period cobblestone structures set in Victorian appearance and four wood structures highlighting 19th century agricultural implements and skilled trades.

Our fully-guided, docent-led tours include the following buildings:

Cobblestone Buildings
• Church (1834)
• Ward House (c. 1840)
• School (1849)

Wood Buildings
• Farmers Hall
• Print Shop
• Harness Shop
• Blacksmith Shop

Many guests choose to schedule lunch as part of their visit. Picnic tables are available on the grounds. The Historic Tillman’s Village Inn, a short distance from the museum, provides options for lunch and dinner.
