The tour includes all entrance fees, offical Maori guided tour and a Cultural Performance a show not to be missed while travelling through New Zealand. This is a small group tour, which allows for a more attention to detail to each and every guest. We take regular breaks for photo opportunities and restroom stops along the tour.

After pick up from your accommodation our first stop is Te Puia, Rotorua's Leading Maori Arts & Craft and Geothermal Valley. Here you will be treated to guided tour around this amazing geothermal landscape where history, culture and nature collide. Your offical Maori guide will share stories passed down through generations. Learn how the Maori people have tamed and utilised this unforgiving landscape in their everyday life's. You'll also gain an insight into features of the Maori carvings, which have deep cultural significance. Watch the master craft men at work, you can see this prestigious art form being handed down from master carvers to young trainees in front of your eyes. Also watch the flax weavers at work and interact with them as they create garments of great beauty.

You'll also be able to observe the legendary Pohutu Geyser. This is the largest geyser in the Southern Hemisphere, which can erupt to a height of 100 feet or 30 metres, this is one of three geysers in this geothermal valley. Walk through a valley, where steam rises from the ground all around you, where water boils and hot bubbling mud jumps and plop's. Learn more about the Kiwi bird, the national icon of New Zealand, a rare opportunity to see for this nocturnal bird.

You will be greeted with a traditional Maori welcoming ceremony, before taking your seats, for a show not to be missed, where the Maori's share with you songs and dance including the spine chilling Haka war dance.

Stop At: Government Gardens, Rotorua New Zealand

The government gardens display a burst of colour with the beautiful flower beds along with the fragrant rose garden. The gardens also provide facilities for bowls, croquet, petanque and golf. The grand museum building which was opened in 1908 the first major investment in the New Zealand tourism industry by the government.

Stop At: Lake Rotorua, Rotorua New Zealand

A stunning stop to get that perfect photo, no trip to Rotorua would not be complete without taking in the highlights drive, and the lake front dose not disappoint! The Rotorua lake front the largest lake, with it elegant black swans and resident geese, as well as all the activity which takes place on the lake, Jet boating, Float planes, Helicopter rides and not forgetting the Lakeland Queen a beautiful paddle steamer which takes guests for a trip around the lake, (a tour you might like to do in your own time).

Stop At: Redwoods, Whakarewarewa Forest, Long Mile Road The Redwoods, Rotorua 3046 New Zealand

Leaving Te Puia we visit the Redwood Forest, one of Rotorua's natural beauty spots, for a walk under these enchanting trees. Here you will also get the chance to see the Silver Fern and learn why it became New Zealand's national emblem.

Stop At: Kuirau Park, 1371, Pukuatua St and, Ranolf St, Rotorua 3010, New Zealand

We take a walk through this open geothermal park, with a hot stream leading into an impressive steaming lake, and walking tracks lead to numerous areas of vigorous geothermal activity.
