Day 1: Salento

Stop At: a 2-91, Cra. 6 #2-1, Salento, Quindío, Colombia
You'll be collected from the Pereira Matecaña International Airport and take a wonderful drive through the beautiful; scenery to your waiting accommodation in Salento.

Day 2: Wax Palms, Salento and Coffee Tour

Stop At: a 2-91, Cra. 6 #2-1, Salento, Quindío, Colombia
You will be collected from the hotel and taken for a wonderful drive to the Cocora Valley where you will walk through the Wax Palm Forrest of the Cocora Valley.

Following this, you’ll be enjoying a full coffee tour explaining exactly how everything works, and a complete explanation of the entire coffee process from seed to cup.

Day 3: Santa Rosa de Cabal Thermal Hot Springs / Filandia

Stop At: Filandia Centro Artesanal, Calle 7 # 7-31, Filandia 634001 Colombia
Will be a trip to the magical location of the Thermal Hot Springs of Santa Rosa. Surrounded by a tropical jungle you’ll walk through and soak up the mineral-rich waters in this amazing setting, along with wandering these beautiful grounds and exploring the unbelievable waterfall.

Following this amazingly relaxing excursion, you’ll be taken to the amazingly colorful town of Filandia. If you thought Salento was an exceptionally colorful town with wonderful architecture, you will absolutely love this place. Here you will enjoy a walking tour and some amazing views from the mirador (lookout).

Day 4: Belalcázar and Viterbo Tour

Stop At: Empresa de servicios públicos de viterbo, Cl. 6 ## 4-45, Viterbo, Caldas, Colombia
Site back and relax as you are driven high through the plantations of Coffee and Platino (similar to bananas) to reach the peak of Belalcázar. Once here you’ll enjoy the breathtaking views of 4 states of Colombia and the amazing site of a giant statue of “Christ the King” overlooking the valleys and town below. You’ll climb to the top of this giant statue and enjoy views for 100’s of miles in every direction.

Next you’ll enjoy a short journey to the entrance of Viterbo, where you can change vehicle for a picturesque ride in a Willys through to the town center. You’ll then be collected in the plaza and continue onto a lake full of fish, which will be where you’ll stop for lunch. You’ll also have a choice of catching for your own lunch using a bamboo fishing pole.

After lunch you’ll journey back into the town of Viterbo and a quick coffee before heading back to Salento.

Day 5: Free Day to Explore More / Airport drop-off

Stop At: Av. 30 de Agosto, Pereira, Risaralda, Colombia
Your transport will be waiting to take you to the airport at any time for the next part of your Colombian adventure, or if you have arranged for another night or more accommodation to explore more of the Zona Cafetera region (highly recommended and can be organised with us after booking), your transport will be waiting for another day.
