Backcountry Zodiac Expedition

Are you ready for a real adventure? Then get your body on with the original award-winning excursion! Board a 14-foot inflatable boat to explore one of the most beautiful places in the SE Alaska Inside Passage. Feel, smell and get up close and personal with the rugged SE Alaska coastlines that you marvel at from the distance of your cruise ship. As an added bonus, you may see seals, whales, sea lions and maybe a bald eagle on your voyage. We'll provide all necessary gear to keep you warm and dry, just make sure you wear comfortable, appropriate outdoor wear. This 2.5-hour tour takes place in Alaskan coastal waters, not calm lakes, ponds or rivers. Chances are, it WILL be rough! Parties of four will have their own boat (one must be 25 or over to drive); parties of two or three will share with other guests. Located in Saxman Native Village gets us out in the wild fast and allows more time on the water.
