Day 1: Arrival Day

Stop At: Oriental Bay, Oriental Parade, Wellington 6001 New Zealand
We will meet you at the tour hotel with your welcome packs and information for the first day tomorrow. You will get to spend the day exploring Wellington at your leisure.

Day 2: Weta Workshop day

Stop At: Weta Workshop, 21 Camperdown Rd, Miramar, Wellington 6022, New Zealand
Enjoy an exclusive behind the scenes tour of Weta Workshop and take part in a special hands on Weta activity!
Duration: 5 hours

Stop At: The Roxy Cinema, 5 Park Road Miramar, Wellington 6022 New Zealand
We will enjoy a lunch at this beautifully restored old theatre by owners Richard Taylor, Tania Rodgers and Jamie Selkirk.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Mount Victoria, Alexandra Lookout Rd, Wellington 6001 New Zealand
Later today we will also visit the iconic 'Get off the road' location from The fellowship of the ring movie!

Day 3: Special Movie Guest

Stop At: Oriental Bay, Oriental Parade, Wellington 6001 New Zealand
Today we will meet with Daniel Reeve, the calligrapher, map maker and artist for The Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies! In winter months we also have a special Hobbit movie guest
Duration: 4 hours

Day 4: Kayaking the Pelorous River

Stop At: Interislander Wellington, 1 Aotea Quay, Pipitea, Wellington 6011, New Zealand
We begin the day with a 3 hour cruise to the South Island
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Nelson Lakes National Park, New Zealand
Kayak down the same river the dwarves in barrels did in The Hobbit!
Duration: 1 hour

Day 5: The One Ring maker and the South of Rivendell movie location

Stop At: Nelson Lakes National Park, New Zealand
Today there is an optional activity to take a scenic helicopter flight to the South of Rivendell movie location from The Lord of the Rings. Includes 2 landings!
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Jens Hansen Gold and Silversmith, 320 Trafalgar Square, Nelson 7010 New Zealand
Visit the original gold smith and maker of the 'One Ring' for the films. Get an inside look at his workshop and amazing Lord of the Rings pieces.

Day 6: Beautiful Kaikoura Coast

Stop At: Kaikoura Coastal Track, 356 Conway Flat Road Ngaroma, Kaikoura New Zealand
This is a beautiful place to visit with stunning scenery and baby fur seals to see along the way

Day 7: Magnificent Edoras

Stop At: Mount Somers Track, Flynns Road, Mount Somers New Zealand
This magnificent movie location is a very spiritual experience! It’s a 30-minute trek to reach the summit. The 360-degree views are breathtaking! You will stand where the Golden Hall once stood and survey the mountain panorama all around you as you fly the Rohan flag!

Day 8: Laketown and Pelennor Fields movie locations

Stop At: Twizel Walkway, Glen Lyon Road, Twizel New Zealand
Charge along the Pelennor Fields where King Theoden’s speech roused men to battle! Stunning location and scenery.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Lake Pukaki, New Zealand
Next we travel to the site of Laketown and enjoy a tour of the land. This is a very stunning location amongst the Great Lakes.
Duration: 2 hours

Day 9: 7 big Lord of the Rings locations

Stop At: Mavora Lakes Park, Fiordland National Park New Zealand
Today we visit several Lord of The Rings sites including the calling up of Shadowfax, the Orc funeral pyre, Fangorn Forest and where Sam and Frodo left the fellowship on the next stage of their journey.

Day 10: Arrowtown

Stop At: The Old Smithy, 44A Buckingham Street, Arrowtown 9302 New Zealand
Today we travel to the old gold mining town - Arrowtown, to pick up our pre-ordered Lord of the Rings jewellery and for the opportunity to Bungy Jump!
Duration: 3 hours

• Dinner: Tonight we have our farewell dinner as a fellowship

Day 11: Optional Activities Day

Stop At: Skyline Queenstown, Brecon St Top OF Street, Queenstown 9348 New Zealand
Today is a free day to try any optional activities you want in our adventure capital, Queenstown! Your guide will assist with bookings and transport.
