Traditional Country Guatemala

Day 1 ARRIVAL TRANSFER, you will be met at “La Aurora” International Airport and transferred to hotel for accommodation.

 

 

Day 2 8:00 AM ANTIGUA GUATEMALA

You will be transfer to Antigua Guatemala this is one of the most beautiful cities in the world considerate worldwide heritage from Unesco in 1979 there you will be and know important places of this colonial city like the Palace of the Capitan’s, Central Square, The Convent of Capuchinas, the St Catherines Arch, and the streets.

 

 

2:00 PM

We will continue the tour to the La Merced church were you can see the paints and the colonial arquitecturem 

 

 

Day 3 7:00 AM ANTIGUA to CHICHICASTENANGO

You will be transferred by two hours and half, from Antigua Guatemala to the Chichicastenango, has a nice market, where you will watch the colors of textiles and the crafts that our Quiche people do one of the most traditional markets in our country. One of the main attractive is the Santo Thomas Church was builded about 450 years ago. 



 

2:30 PM LAKE ATITLAN

The Atitlán Lake has in it shores three nice volcanoes Tolimán, Atitlán and San Pedro around the lake is twelve little villages where lives people of Kachickel tribe, in your visit you can see the different Mayan suits, and listen different Mayan languages that still be speaked in this society. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Day 4 7:00 AM SANTIAGO ATITLÁN

Santiago Atitlán: This day we will have a tour in boat for Santiago Atitlán where you will see the crafts, and also the color full of textiles,

 

6:00 AM NATIONAL PARK TIKAL FULL DAY

You will be transferred to the airport for boarding, your flight to Santa Elena Petén, where you will be waited by our staff, for transfer you to the National Park Tikal. In this tour you will see the temples I, II, IV, the ball game, the Acropolis North and is the Central Mayan city the most important of the classic time. Also you can see the area of the lost world, after the lunch (included) visit to the Museum Sylvanus Morley in the afternoon transfer to the Airport for board your flight back to Guatemala City, where our staff will be waiting for you, for transfer you back to the Hotel of your choice in Guatemala City.
