Stop At: Fukuyama Castle, 1-8 Marunochi, Fukuyama 720-0061 Hiroshima Prefecture

You will join the English-speaking guide in front of the ticket gate of Fukuyama station and then head to Fukuyama Castle with the guide, 1-minute walk from Fukuyama Castle. In front of the castle tower (Tenshukaku), you will also join the tour guide for Fukuyama Castle, whose shows the history and the high spots of the castle while walking in the Fukuyama Castle. This time, we will not enter the inside of the castle tower, please visit there after this tour ends if you are interested in.

After that, you will move to” Leather Studio Third”, a stylish leather workshop in which some pieces of antique furniture are placed. You will experience “making Rose-shaped leather key holder”. First, you choose whichever you like, from red leather material and blue one and then shape it into a rose. The blue leather material called “Fukuyama leather” is the special one, which really exists only here in the world. While you can complete your key holder very fast, it is absolutely certain that it will be surprising and impressive experience. After completing your work, please make yourself at home over a cup of coffee. You can also purchase the leather goods if you wish.

Then, for lunch, you will move to the Italian restaurant listed in the Michelin Hiroshima version. It is a small restaurant for the locals, where usually few tourists visit. In the full-course meal, you can choose one from pasta, pizza and risotto. The English-speaking guide will interpret the explanation about the dishes served and how to eat them. Before leaving the restaurant, you can get all-purpose seasoning “Tabasco (tomato-based Tabasco) made by the Vegetable Sommelier and Michelin-starred restaurant chef as a present .

After lunch, you will go to a houseplant shop whose building used to be an elementary school building. On the way to the shop, while passing by the vineyard and the shrine decorated with rare red paper strip called “Shide”, the English-speaking guide will explain about the vineyard and the shrine. The houseplant shop named “Okanoue-no-tsurubara-ya” has the space which is abundant with greenery of former elementary school. In the room where natural light comes in or the open wood deck, you can taste Japanese green tea which is politely made and a piece of cake. The special Japanese tea “Sera-cha” is cultivated and produced without using agrochemicals or chemical fertilizer. The shop staff member will explain about how to taste the tea with the interpretation by the English-speaking guide. The cake is the one that is gentle to your body and made only by vegetable food materials such as soybean curd (tohu) or soybean milk, rapeseed oil, nuts and fruits without using animal food materials such as egg and dairy product.

Finally, after sending you off at the ticket gate of Fukuyama station as the original meeting place, then this tour ends.
