Itinerary

First, you will learn why dyeing industry developed in Fukuyama.Next, you will dye sneakers by hand by choosing 3 colors out of 10 typical colors from Fukuyama and Japan.Then, you will dye 'Tenugui.'Choose your favorite pattern out of 3 and tie the cloth using rubber bands. You will put on 'Samue,' Japanese work clothes, and soak the Tenugui in the indigo pot.Lastly, you will get your original sneakers and Tenugui you dyed.

  • Dyed shoes will be handed in the half-dried state to protect the rubber parts.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund
