Stop At: Nizwa Souk, City Center Close to the fort, Nizwa 611 Oman
Board an air-conditioned 4WD drive through the Sumail Gap that divides the western and eastern Hajar mountains and onto the Old Capital of Oman, Nizwa known for its silver souq and the big round Fort built during the period of the Yaruba Dynasty. After we proceed to Bahla with the hugh loam Fort, More notably, Bahla has been placed in the list of UNESCO world heritage sites for its cultural antiquity. Bahla is also known as the POTTERY capital of Oman. A short drive from here lies Jabreen castle, one of the magnificent forts of Oman famous for its decorative paintings on the ceilings. Return to Muscat.
