About this activity
The experience starts at "Gate A1" at the Virtual Pilot airport located near Kallithea Area which is 5km from Rhodes City. (Detailed location instructions will be provided with your booking).
A Flight Instructor will be waiting for you in Pilot Uniform. After the greeting you will continue to the Crew Briefing room, where you will go through the details of the flight.
Coffee and Soft drinks are provided.
Next, you will go through the Gate and into the aircraft for the Flight. The training aircraft is the Cessna 172 and it will be parked at Rhodes International Airport. We follow all the real-world procedures to check, setup and start the aircraft engines.
The flight takes you around Rhodes Island and during this time a basic flight lesson is provided.
Coming back to land you will be able to test your landing skills with a lot of touch and go’s.
Finally your return back to the airport and do the procedures for engine shutdown and parking.
