Mud Pool Tour with Garden of the Sleeping Giant Visit from First Landing and Vuda Hotels

This tour begins in Nadi town at the sight of the great Nadi Temple, otherwise named "Sri Siva Subarmaniya Temple." This unique Hindu temple, the largest in the southern hemisphere, reflects an architectural style rarely seen outside India, and houses sacred statues designed by craftspeople brought over from India. This peaceful Hindu temple strikes a vibrant pose against a dramatic mountainous backdrop.

Depart the Hindu temple for a 25-minute stop at a souvenir/handicrafts shop in Nadi town, then onto Namaka Fruits & Vegetable market. Tour through the first Fijian Village where the local's ancestors landed: Viseisei Village. This is a very culturally rich tour as you will learn about the village life style and the traditional Fijian culture of the country.

Stopover at a local primary school to visit young kids to talk, sing along, and take pictures with them. The tour proceeds to the Garden of the Sleeping Giant famous for its collection of its orchids and tropical plants. Please note that school tours are not available on weekends or school or public holidays.
