Our guide, Demetra, was fabulous! She was very knowledgeable and did a beautiful job of bringing the history of Siena alive for us and our two teenage daughters. It was hot and the town was very crowded but, somehow, we didn't seem to notice thanks to her masterful story-telling. I voiced some interest in St. Catherine and, without hesitation, Demetra offered to take us to her birthplace, which she did. She was well-versed in the details of St. Catherine's life and legacy. Such a wonderful experience. I recommend this tour and Demtra highly.
