Day 1: Arrival Day

Pass By: Windermere Information, Victoria Street, Windermere LA23 1AD England
We will meet you at Windermere railway station and transfer you to your accommodation, where there will be a friendly welcome. After check-in, the rest of the day is free.

Day 2: Yorkshire Dales

Pass By: Sedbergh Information & Book Shop, 72 Main Street, Sedbergh, Yorkshire Dales National Park LA10 5AD England
First destination on this tour is the quaint village of Sedbergh

Stop At: Ribblehead Viaduct, Ribblehead, Ingleton, Yorkshire Dales National Park LA6 3AS England
Head up to see the famous Settle to Carlisle Railway and the spectacular viaduct.
Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Wensleydale Creamery, Gayle Ln, Hawes, Wensleydale DL8 3RN, UK
Located in the town of Hawes in Wensleydale, Wensleydale Creamery is an award-winning independent traditional cheese-makers.
Duration: 1 day 16 hours

Stop At: Reeth Community Orchard, The Green Reeth, Yorkshire Dales National Park DL11 6SZ England
Descending into Swaledale through the valley to the small market town of Reeth for lunch.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Bolton Castle, Nr Leyburn, Leyburn DL8 4ET England
Our next stop is Bolton Castle in which Mary, Queen of Scots was imprisoned
Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Aysgarth Falls, Aysgarth, Yorkshire Dales National Park England
Aysgarth Waterfalls, which is famous for an appearance in the film Robin Hood Prince of thieves.
Duration: 10 minutes

Day 3: Ten Lakes Spectacular

Pass By: Kirkstone Pass, Ambleside England
Travel over a Lake District Mountain Pass

Pass By: Ullswater Lake, England
England's 2nd largest lake.

Stop At: Castlerigg Stone Circle, Castle Lane Underskiddaw, Keswick CA12 4RN England
One of the earliest British circles dating back over 4000 years
Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Moot Hall - Keswick Information Centre, Moot Hall Market Square, Keswick CA12 5JR England
Spend an hour for lunch in the market town of Keswick (please note lunch is not included)
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Derwent Water House Keswick on Derwentwater Nbiughl, Keswick CA12 5RF England
Enjoy a 45 minute cruise on either Derwentwater or Ullswater.
Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Ashness Bridge, Keswick England
Visit the most photographed bridge in the Lake District, Ashness Bridge and continue onto Surprise View, boosting beautiful views over Derwentwater
Duration: 15 minutes

Pass By: Honister Slate Mine, Honister Pass, Keswick CA12 5XN England
Continue into Borrowdale and over Honister Pass.

Pass By: Buttermere Lake, Buttermere, Cockermouth CA13 9XA England
Enjoy views of Newlands Valley and Buttermere

Stop At: Lake Grasmere, Grasmere England
Stop in Grasmere, famous for Sarah Nelson's Gingerbread & William Wordsworth
Duration: 30 minutes

Day 4: Hadrian's Wall

Stop At: Lanercost Priory Burtholme, Lanercost, Brampton CA8 2HQ England
Visit the church built within the priory ruins and Burne Jones windows. The Augustinian priory of Lanercost stands nearby to Hadrian’s Wall and was much involved in the Anglo-Scottish wars.

Pass By: Hadrian's Wall, Carlisle CA4 8LN England
You will follow the wall passing ‘Mile Castles’ and ‘Towers’. Hadrian’s Wall is almost 80 miles long and was the northern boundary of the mighty Roman Empire for around 3 Centuries.

Stop At: Roman Army Museum, Chesterholm Museum Bardon Mill, Hexham NE47 7JN England
The next stop will by the Roman Army Museum, where there is time for lunch and a café inside (please note lunch is not included). The Roman Army Museum lies on the site of Carvoran Roman Fort adjacent to sections of Hadrian’s Wall. The museum’s artefacts, videos and reconstructions, it also has a award winning 3D film illustrates the military and civil engineering accomplishments of the Roman’s in Britain.

Stop At: Vindolanda Vindolanda Bardon Mill, Hexham NE47 7JG England
Vindolanda is an amazing working archaeological dig site to the south of Hadrian’s Wall. There were 9 forts built on the site over the 400 years of Roman occupancy. Each day during the summer, treasures are uncovered by the volunteer excavators.

Day 5: Departure Day
