Stop At: Shirakawago, 517 Hatogaya, Shirakawa-mura, Ono-gun 501-5629 Gifu Prefecture

The last stop of the day is the famous Shirakawa-go. Located in the Ono District in Gifu, Ogimachi is the largest village and main attraction of Shirakawa-go with about 100 Gassho houses. Some of the locals still live in the Gassho houses even to this date.

After Shirakawa-go, the bus will drop you off at Takayama Station.

Duration: 1 hour 20 minutes

Stop At: 養老SA (下り), 西川原-1477-18 Hashizume, Yoro, Yōrō-gun, Gifu 503-1331, Japan

Have a brief stop at Yoro Rest Area. You can find a lot of local snacks and also the famous Seki Knives!

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Sample Village Iwasaki, 250 Hachimancho-Jonancho, Gujo 501-4224 Gifu Prefecture

Gujo-Hachiman, be prepared to be fascinated by this old-fashioned town's clean air, canal, and mini parks in various styles. The town is famous for its Natural Water, as well as for Food Samples/Replicas, having been a center of food replicas production for decades. 70 percent of food replicas in Japan are made in this town. After lunch you'll have a free time by your own to explore the area.
